“Our community has the opportunity now to play a crucial role in the lives of children with special needs by ensuring that these life-changing programs provided by The Bell Center have a facility that allows the teachers and therapists the physical plant their work requires.”
– Benny M. LaRussa, Jr.
Founded in 1984, The Bell Center is dedicated to maximizing the potential of children from birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay. Each child works with a transdisciplinary team including a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, a speech-language pathologist and an early childhood special education teacher, as well-trained Service Guild and Community Volunteers. The Bell Center is unique in that all programs take place under one roof, allowing the transdisciplinary team members to work closely together and to increase the frequency of services delivered to the child.
