The month of April

Run, Walk or Cycle as a BellRunner

The BellRunner program is designed to motivate and support participants who agree to raise $100/mile for The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs. This year’s BellRunner Program is structured slightly differently due to the ongoing pandemic and cancellation of the Mercedes Marathon weekend. For one year only during these extraordinary times, you can customize your BellRunner experience.

The program pairs the participant with a child who is receiving life-changing early intervention therapies at The Bell Center, and the runner or walker will train and raise funds in the name of that child. It is an amazing, life-changing experience to dedicate hours of training and focus for a child at risk for developmental delay and then share the race day adventure by wearing a photo of The Bell Center child. While our goal is to maximize the potential of developmentally delayed children, we typically find that our runners experience so much more.

Participants may run or walk the 5K, 13.1 mile Half Marathon, run the 26.2 mile Marathon.

As a BellRunner, let your Bell Center child be your inspiration and motivation to do great things for others.  The Bell Center staff is here to assist you in your BellRunner experience. For specific questions or advice, please contact Lindsey Renfro (
