The Bell Center could not accomplish its mission to maximize the development of children from birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay without the help of numerous volunteers who work in and out of the classroom to support our mission. Each week, tens of volunteers work one-on-one with children in the All About Me under the direction of The Bell Center’s professional staff. These volunteers provide loving guidance and instruction and form meaningful relationships with the children they serve. Many of our volunteers are members of The Service Guild of Birmingham while others are part of our Community Volunteer program & Corporate Volunteer program.

Outside of the classroom, volunteers are busy helping The Bell Center with special events that aid in fundraising or in special projects that keep The Bell Center facility in top-notch shape to serve the children and families. If you’re interested in volunteering for one of our events, please contact us.

Students are an important part of The Bell Center’s program as we work closely with many local colleges and universities to provide their students with the opportunity for observation and instruction. If you would like more information concerning our students opportunities, reach out to Jane Lamb.
